Finding the right underwear type might seems either a very difficult or a very easy task. Maybe even something you never think about. But it’s neither – it’s not too easy nor too hard. But we’ll make it easy. Here’s our guide to picking the right underwear for your body type.
A lot of us underestimate the importance and power of good underwear. If it’s too tight, too loose, or if you’re wearing that old grey pair of pants that were once white, you’ve got to do something about it. Underwear is a staple item, yet we tend to forget about it.
We’re guilty of throwing the same pair on (after they’ve been washed, hopefully) day in and day out. We never really stop to consider whether the underwear we’re wearing is right for us. Whether it’s finding a pair that really complements your shape, provides enough support throughout the day, or allows your skin to breathe when you’re active, it’s vital to have a good selection in your drawer.
Underwear & body type
Just like clothes, different styles of underwear will compliment different people. So find out your shape and match it to the right underwear to make sure you feel and look fantastic!
It’s also a good moment to remind you that we do have Gay Packs, so once you’ve checked which underwear types to choose, don’t forget to update your Taste Profile or to get a Gay Pack right away.
All body types
First of all, we’d like to point out that there’s a category of underwear that fits everyone regardless of their body type. Yup, we’re talking about jocks. We’re all for it on all men at all times! But now let’s get to the other options.
Slim, any height

When you have a slimmer physique, you will always have to opt for the tighter options because wearing baggy underwear can make you look more skinny or bony. Trunks suits this body type the most as they are longer than briefs yet not too tight to be worn. Wearing trunks wonโt make you look as if you are wearing a diaper and at the same time your legs wonโt look like matchsticks sticking out of a pile of fabric too.
Best option: Trunks. They’re not baggy like the larger boxers, which means your legs won’t look lost within all that material. However, all in all, we’d say only the baggier boxers won’t work for this body type and you could also wear briefs, boxer briefs and look fab.
Muscular or fit, any height

Okay, here’s the bad news… for us. As if already everything doesn’t fit this body type, all types of underwear work for it too. Yes, you will always look like an underwear model wearing whichever type of them. Just get a nice pair to use your full potential.
Best option: All
Bigger and under 5’9 / 175 cm
The main thing here is to make sure the underwear won’t make you look rounder than you are and to emphasise good proportions. Also, if you wear underwear that is too long, it’ll make you look shorter than you are.
Best option: Trunks and boxer briefs are the best option as they make you look taller and emphasise straight lines.
Bigger / wide hips and over 5’9 / 175 cm
The emphasise is to get the proportions right. So what we’d need are straight lines and good proportions – too little fabric might look like you weirdly tall, so try to avoid that.
Best option: Boxer briefs (so a little longer boxers) and even the more baggy boxers work the best here. The worst ones would be briefs as they’d make this body type feel a bit too round and in a bad way not the good kind of a bear way.

Under 5’9 / 175 cm
Shorter guys have to be careful when opting for underwear that is too lengthy as it may make you appear a lot shorter than your actual height. Briefs are your perfect fix as they donโt feature much material. So, you can flash a lot more of your flesh.
Best option: Briefs don’t have as much material, so you’ll have more flesh on show and won’t be hidden under the excess fabric.
Over 5’9 / 175 cm
The tall guys must be pondering about which underwear should I wear? Taller guys over 6ft / 190 cm will have to stick with boxer briefs no matter what. Wearing a shorter fabric would make you look really tall. Give yourself all the materials to work with and cover your spare legs.
Best option: Boxer briefs. Give yourself as much material to work with as possible. If you’ve got plenty of leg to spare, you won’t miss it being covered up.
