How to create the best weekend ever?

Want a productive weekend, but struggling for ideas? Then check out these 5 tips to help your weekend be something other than just time away from work.

Your weekends are precious — you’ll want to make the most of them. You’ve probably worked all week with one target in mind — getting to the weekend and then doing something useful with it! Yet often when you actually reach the weekend, it tends to fizzle out and not quite live up to your expectations. These tips should help with making plans and sticking to them, as you’re most likely in need of motivation.

1. Close out all loose ends

Anything unfinished in your mind on Friday will likely gnaw at you all through the weekend. You don’t have to finish all your work but you do want to address any dangling issues. I always make sure I have responded to all incoming emails, even if only to say that I will address it on Monday. I always review my schedule and to-do lists for the week to make sure I didn’t leave anyone or anything major hanging. This helps me rest with great peace of mind.

2. Start with a great meal

Food is one of life’s most simple and greatest pleasures. The weekend deserves to be ushered in with a tasty meal. It doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy, but it needs to put a smile on your face. Whether you get joy from cooking it or having someone else cook it at a restaurant so you can relax and dine, fine. And it’s even better if you can share it with friends or family who make you happy.

3. Plan for some “Me” time

Without the pressure of work and people, the weekend is a perfect time to focus on you. You can self-reflect, meditate, exercise, or even learn a language. Or you can just spend a few hours on the couch in your underwear reading your favorite book. Oh, wait you just finished your book? Then we have great news for you, this weekend we have a fantastic kit with the book “Gay Man Talking: All the Conversations We Never Had” By Daniel Harding. Plus we’ll add 3 pairs of hot and comfortable underwear and a set of colorful socks. Hurry up we have only 10 kits left.

Do something that helps make you a better person. You want to start Monday feeling that you are stronger and more prepared to deal with the world than ever before.

4. Get outdoors

Admittedly the weather is not always on our side — but if you’re prepared for whatever the elements might throw at you, then you shouldn’t be too concerned about getting out into the fresh air. Simply get outdoors and go for a walk, run, hike, cycle — or anything else you can think of! It’s amazing how getting a bit of exercise and fresh air will leave you energized — and if you share the experience with others, then that’s an added bonus.

5. Avoid drinking too much alcohol

There’s no denying that most of us enjoy a drink, and the temptation when we reach Friday night is often to have a few too many. However, the next day you’ll probably feel a bit off-color and spend most of the day in bed or nursing the hangover — and so the day will pass without you having done anything. Our advice is therefore to take it easy when you’re drinking. A little alcohol can help you to relax at the weekend — but don’t let it rule your time off!

Hope our tips will help you to have a fab weekend.
