How soy helps you to stay hydrated

It seems soy is everywhere now, from the sauce you have with sushi to the milk you put into your fancy latte but did you know it can also help your skin to stay hydrated?

When choosing Barber Pro’s Hydrating Face Serum for our Gay Packs this month, we were rather surprised to find out that its hydrating component, Hyaluronic Acid is derived from soy beans. Yup, the very same natural substance works to lock in liquid as each particle can carry up to 1000x its weight in moisture, making it a truly powerful ingredient when it comes to providing and retaining hydration.

“Our Hyaluronic Acid is naturally derived from Soybean and is highly effective at providing and retaining moisture in the skin.” Anthony Veloso, Head of Marketing at Barber Pro says.

This pairs well with Chamomile which calms the skin to reduce any irritation or breakouts and leave the skin feeling soothed and happy. “We also included Wild Rose which will help to brighten the complexion and tone the skin.” he adds.

But to make sure it would make a difference?

Use this serum morning and night. Either right after you’ve had a shower or washed your face. This ensures that your skin is clean and the ingredients can easily travel into the pores without encountering any blockages caused by the daily build up of toxins or dead skin cells.

So, next time you have sushi, be sure you’ve put on the serum and feel the power of the soy bean!
