Start your day with a delicious brunch at Cripeka, in Chueca
Madrid’s very own gay village, Chueca, is full of LGBTQ+ life, day and night. There are some great gay stores here selling all kinds of gorgeous underwear, fetish gear and colourful jockstraps. There’s no better way to kick off an adventure around a new city than with a new pair of undies right? But you’ll need to eat first…
Cripeka is our number one choice for brunch in this area of gay Madrid. Don’t be afraid to ask the staff to mix things up if you’re not sure what you want. As well as charging up your own human battery with this fab menu of Spanish and international dishes, you can also charge your phone! You’ll need it for all the photos you’re going to take today. The coffee is fabulous too. We had two. OK then, three.

Take in some culture at the Reina Sofia Museum
If you’re going to see one piece of art in Madrid, it may as well be one of the biggest and most moving pieces of art in the world. We’re talking about of course, Picasso’s, Guernica. It’ll leave you breathless. Which will be OK, because there’s air-conditioning here at the Reina Sofia. Madrid gets HOT in the summer, so spending some time in this lovely, world-renowned sphere of art and culture is one of the best ways to spend your afternoon.

Go boating on the lake in Retiro Park
One of Madrid’s biggest and most-loved parks is the Retiro, with a stunning Palacio de Cristal (“Crystal Palace”), ornamental gardens and boating lake. Relax in the shade, or if you’re feeling adventurous, hire a rowing boat and give your arms a good workout. A really fun thing to do if you’re on a date. Just don’t fall in, Bridget Jones’s Diary style…
Party at Mordisko or Churros con Chocolate
There are a huge amount of party options in Madrid, it’s kinda insane. But two of the best are Mordisko – for sexy guys, hot hairy gogo dancers, a fun, friendly, hedonistic atmosphere and men, men, men across the dance floor.
For something a bit more LGBTQ+ you’ve got to try Churros Con Chocolate. It’s an extravaganza every month, with performances of all varieties, and a ton of silly fun and costumes. Churros gets bigger and better every month, we can’t wait for the next one!

Relax and get frisky at the Sauna Paraiso
In Madrid, one of the most popular, sexy and sociable places to go after the club is the Sauna Paraiso. It’s full of gorgeous guys and has a bar, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, jacuzzi and huge cruise maze with tons of private cabins. It’s friendly and fun, the kind of place you’d go with your gay friends. It’s a big part of Madrid’s gay scene and culture – enjoy it!
