How to shape up your eyes without plastic surgery?
Worried your eyes start to show some signs of ageing or thinking they might do that soon? Well, we’ve got some tips to postpone it and perhaps even make it better.
As we have their Eye Contour in our Out’n’Proud pack this month, we had a talk with Danielle Block from Symbiosis Skincare about this topic. So what’s behind it when your eyes do not look their best? Is it something serious?
“Sometimes your under-eye condition can tell quite a few things about your health. It might be related to not sleeping properly, allergies & sinus problems, tobacco & alcohol use, ageing and even diet but also, too much sun,” she explains.
It’s a good moment to point out that actually more than 80% of signs of ageing come from that according to science. Yes, 80%!
But how to help things to be better? One solution is to use a great eye cream or even.. an eye contour? What’s the difference?
“Using eye contour cream promotes the blood’s microcirculation, which is weak in this area of the face, and reaches dark circles and bags under the eyes that make you look tired. Used in combination with a day/night cream, it keeps the skin around your eyes healthy.” she says. “The skin around your eyes is more fragile than the rest of your face. Itโs best to be extra careful with it. For this reason, itโs better to use a specially designed cream or gel for the eye. Many regular facial creams or moisturisers may irritate the thin skin.”
Their eye contour promises to redefine your eye expression with pre-biotics which visibly reduce signs of ageing and dryness. Plus, the Retinoids in it help visibly increase firmness whilst diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. Sounds almost like getting your eyes done doesn’t it?
So there you have it – don’t do things that are bad for you but if you do, before you go to a plastic surgeon (potentially), you can try out a fantastic eye contour instead.
