What could top Hyaluronic acid?

As Hyaluronic acid seems to be all the rage at the moment in the grooming industry, we were wondering if and what could be an upgrade to that. And we found a clue in an upcoming product in our Gay Packs.
Namely, this month’s Out’n’Proud Gay Pack will let you try on Steel Skin’s Wet Diamond Hydrating Eye Patches. While they look fab, it’s not only that. They also include many great ingredients. For example a marine extract (!) called Chondrus crispus that protects, softens and soothes your skin, according to the CEO of Steelskincare.

But not only that, it also includes Sodium hyaluronate. How does it work? Well, first of all, you have to understand what Sodium hyaluronate is. You might think it’s just another ingredient on your skin care label, but it’s actually pretty important for keeping your skin looking young and fresh.
How? Well, let’s start with hyaluronic acid. This is a naturally-occurring molecule found in the human body that helps keep our connective tissue strong and supple—it’s also found in many other parts of nature like plants and animals.
The difference comes down to molecular weight. Hyaluronic acid has a high molecular weight, which means it’s a macromolecule. The large molecules coat the skin and prevent water loss, leading to better hydration.
But why is all this important? Dry skin makes fine lines and creases more noticeable. But as sodium hyaluronate hydrates the skin, it improves the appearance of wrinkles.
So here we go – a possible upgrade to your grooming routine.
